Lisa Ray : I'm a pretty proficient typist (I use all five fingers) but I'm a little overwhelmed by all the people online so please be patient- also please note my spelling is extraordinary!

Pradeep : Why it's taking this much time for a good-looking, talented, sexy model like you to get a better opportunity
Lisa Ray : Well Pradeep, I didn't really want to enter films- in fact I've been turning down very prestigiuos offers for years. But Kasoor is a special film and an important role so I felt strongly about doing the movie.

Lisa Ray : I think that is only one aspect of my image. I am not very sexy in real life and I have tried hard to project all kinds of differnt images. I feel my most valuable asset is my versitility. For instance, in Kasoor, I am playing a lawyer, so I worked hard on projecting the part in terms of acting and looks.

Lisa Ray : I was 16 when I modelled for Bombay dyeing, so you can do the math for yourself.

dombaboy : hey how do u feel to be in india after such a long spell abroad. I want the true answer and nothing that would please us indians
Lisa Ray : I made a consciuos decision to settle down in Bombay becasue this is where I feel I belong. I may have been born and brought up abroad but the fact is I was always attracted to India (my family is from Calcutta) My heart and soul belong here and I can't even explain why. I haven't been back to Canada now in three years. I am very much an Indian -a slightly westernized Indian, but an Indian. And proud of it!

Lisa Ray : My father is a Ph'd in Chemistry and he was a chemical engineer working in the Petroleum industry in Canada.

Lisa Ray : Yes I do, but there is nothing wrong with formula films. The problem is there should be a choice for people to see- that's what we've tried to do with Kasoor- makesomething different and fresh, but within the commericial hindi film format.

Lisa Ray : You know shikha, I am very bad at planning because I believe my life has realy been ruled more by destiny. My favourite saying is "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans' and it's true!

Lisa Ray : The key is self confidence. These days most moderately pretty young girls can be groomed to look good, but confidence and a certain amount of maturityin taking decisions is essential. Also if you are serious about modelling, you have to live in Mumbai or Delhi

Lisa Ray : That's correct, but back then I was not serious about my career- today I certainly and I have worked very hard in Kasoor

Lisa Ray : I have never met Sunny and I don't want to. Now after working in the glamour business so many years, i know how much of what we do is abut creating an illusion so I believe more in real people. My closest friends and not connected to this business

Lisa Ray : To be honest, I used to be a very abrupt person with my fans, but only becasue I am essentially an introvert and a bit shy. I like my work to be appreciated, but i don't like persoanl attention. But today I realize that I am here today because of my fans and all of us media persoanlities are nothing without all of you out there- I thrive on your good wishes.

Lisa：真诚的说，对待我的fans，我曾经是个很生硬的人，但那都是因为我本质上是个内向还有点害羞的人。我喜欢我的工作受到赏识，但是我不喜欢私人的关注。但是现在我已经意识到我能走到今天都是因为我的fans，如果没有你们的支持，我们从事媒体职业的人将一无是处-我会成功都是因为你们的祝福。

AlokG : One thing i want to tell u is , U r such a beautiful girl & what r u doing in this big & bad media world. I say u must leave this rude & careless people who un-necassary disturbs u'r personal life . What do u say ?
Lisa Ray : My experience has been that if one conducts oneself with integrity and dignity and in a mature fashion, there is no chance for any misbehaviour. You have to be strong to be in this business and i have matured tremendously and learned a lot. The only thing I still hate is unecessary attention on my private life, becasue I am a very private person.

Lisa Ray : I am currently not doing any music videos becasue I feel the market is saturated now. I love music, but god help anyone around me when I sing!

Lisa Ray : I think in english, i am fluent in polish, I had to learn french in school for many years and now I am steadily improving my hindi.

v : Good afternoon, Lisa.i am V from Dubai. i would like to ask a question do you belive that there is a child in you? what is the most memorable incident as a child?
Lisa Ray : I had a very beautiful and idyllic childhood- plus I'm an only child so I got a lot of attention. But at the same time I grew up very independent becasue I had to amuse myself. I can't pick out a particular memorable moment, but people who know me well willtell you that I am still a child- an intelligent child, but a child.

Lisa Ray : Fidelity and intensity. Intensity means that whatever he does, he will do it with conviction and passion.
