Shamim Sarif的回邮~

对Shamim的印象在一点点的叠加，从她的文字，从演员的叙述，到她的邮件
不过之前有列在Enlightenment官网中的Shamim的邮箱地址现在已经没在了…why？

三月的时候刚好是看了电影在疯狂搜寻相关的时候，逛到Enlightenment就看到导演邮箱的连接，于是脑袋一发晕，冲动的写了封邮件给Shamim，其实是想问问为什么没有TWU的OST和接下来的工作，外加大力赞赏了一番Lisa姐和大眼妹。没想到第二天一早就收到回信（虽然有在导演的blog里看到说她会亲自看邮件）。只是看到她说illegal downloads的问题，相当心虚==

不过现在DVD都买齐了，连书都买了，还准备买她的其他本书，非常支持正版了呐~


第一次回信内容：
Dear Ivy

Thank you for your lovely email. I really appreciate that you are so supportive of my work and very happy you liked the movies so much.

hope you did not watch them on illegal downloads?! I only ask because sometimes people do not think about it, but in fact these download sites hurt filmmakers like me and Hanan and eventually prevent us from making more films.

The DVDs and books are available through the film websites (below), and the DVDs are shipping exclusively from our sites in early April. I hope you will send the links to everyone you know! And thank you for having the discussions too! Which forums are they on?

We are working on another film, but it may be a while before we can raise the financing and shoot it.

I should also let you know that ICTS is playing in London on 27th March at the BFI as part of the London Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, in case you can make it! And The World Unseen is in Manchester on 21st March for a charity screening (closer to Leeds!) and details are on the website.

第二次写信想要告诉导演关于字幕的问题，也很快就回复了，不过这些具体的细节问题并没有多说。

Thank you again, Ivy, I do remember, and I am very happy that you enjoyed both films. They are different from the books, but I think that is normal – they are very different ways of writing and telling a story!
